Things That Are Important in Life *not necessarily in this order*
1. Knowing my life in Jesus is something that is just part of who I am (like being female) even if it isn't always easy and not always pleasant. It's just who I am and it's a good thing.
2. Having the same attitude as above with being married.
3. Loving children unconditionally... making them know that what they do or don't do has nothing to do with how much you love them.
4. Making sure kids have a hide-a-way place that adults can get to if invited but that is their own imagination station.
5. That the grass stays green (it's sooo relaxing)
6. That the grass gets mowed even if it isn't green (it still looks better than nothing)
7. That Bible study is a consistent family activity no matter how short and uninspiring it may seem. God's word will never return void.
8. To know that being positive isn't the same as being ignorant of the facts.
9. To say Yes more often than No
10. To thank People often and as soon as possible
11. Laughing is so important... even, and sometimes most importantly, at yourself
12. Listening is more important than talking
13. If you have to talk... saying something worth listening to
14. Those around you need to hear that you think they are awesome…especially if they are your children or spouse
15. Giving children lots of choices within a strong boundary will give them a strong positive image of themselves
16. Children need to see parents argue only if they can see them make-up and work it out.
17. Not being in debt
18. Driving down sun-dappled roads with large trees overhanging the road.
19. Hearing children laugh.
